The Loss of a Dear Friend

Easing Anxiety joins the entire benzo community in mourning the passing of Dr. Christy Huff. We are all processing this enormous loss.

Christy was a giant in the benzo community. In addition to her role as Medical Director for Benzodiazepine Information Coalition (BIC), she was also a published researcher, presenter, organizer, and tireless advocate. Few individuals in the benzo community have done more than Christy to raise awareness, educate, and provide support. Her impact is immeasurable. On a personal note, Christy was a dear friend. We worked on dozens of projects together and she became my one of my closest allies. This loss is devastating.

I join BIC in asking for privacy for Christy's family and friends during this difficult time. Please take care of yourselves and seek appropriate support if you need it.
